And don't forget that the rats are as big as cats, there are alligators in the sewer system and they try to push tourists (from Belgium) onto the subway tracks. <g> Actually its an amazing city...have a great time!WRT PC sales, it's holiday season here, very slow. Usualy it picks up after the fiftheenth, which is a holiday here and for a lot of people the end of the vacation. I forgot its August and everyone's on holiday. If possible, at the end of September, maybe you could give us a rough idea if the pc business is up or down percentage wise and what product(s)is selling fast and what's not. I know you will be very busy but whatever you can do. TIA. Schools open september 1 and we are off for another year. What is really hot here is mobile telecom. Even a small country like Belgium has tree operators and more coming. Almost 40% of the people has a mobile phone and forecast is this will increase to 70-80% in the coming years. Now the big companies like Nokia, Ericsson etc. all bring out new models with WAP and internet access. Many people are buying a new phone every two or three year. So, no, this is not the top. What can be a problem, is price erosion. Last summer sales, you could buy a nice mobile phone for $25, while it used to have a price in the $100 - $300 range. But then again, this is a problem for the phone makers, not for the component suppliers. That's interesting...when NOK warned many here assumed that they were not really telling the whole truth...that their claim of component shortages and product delays was really a euphenism for slowing demand. Clearly, you disagree.....this is not as top....glad to hear it. ted
