"Time division scheduling to determine who will get the data is TDMA. That's pretty much the definition of TDMA."

You can have fun with the name forever.

It's not a matter of having fun with the name. It's a matter of knowing the definition, which you obviously don't.

The bottom line, you know what TDMA you were talking about when you said HDR is TDMA because your lack of misunderstanding.

Yeah, it's amazing how I get to keep my job as a wireless engineer with such a poor understanding of the technology.

I heard a rumor, can't verify it, that the CDMA/HDR standard is due out sometime before this year. Don't know if it's from the EIT/TIA or the CDG, but why don't you wait and get a copy of it. Then tell me how I misread the UWCC's, and other's, statements and tell me how HDR really works.
