I don't think that valuation has one metric or set comfort range. Still, A 70 P/E with still expected .92 earnings, to be behind us in 2 quarters, would give a price of 68. That is only a 62% stock price rise in 6 months. Earnings of .92 is still believable to me as is the future growth potential from a strong Wintel product roll-out for the following year. For buyers of Dell, today's prices are a gift from our non-manipulative foresighted analysts.
