Alan, AMAT seems to be in the semi equipment area. It makes sense that with new fabs coming on line AMAT sales will suffer some because the demand was strongest as they were being built.

What do you think about BRCM, PMCS and AMCC? Unlike AMAT, these guys are more like broadband & fiber component suppliers.

Everybody is trying to figure the best place to position themselves as new fabs come on line. Personally, I am trying to stay with:

Semis: BRCM, PMCS, AMCC

Fiber: JDSU/SDLI, NT, GLW, CIEN & SCMR

I am staying away from wireless (except QCOM) because everyone is waiting for 3G devices to come out.
