I've done the same myself several times in the past .(LRCX, KLIC, SVGI) What I was doing was writing covered calls one month out when a stock got within 20% of its high. And as it approached a good low for the past past month buy a call going out two months. But this time ( last few months) the new low turned out to be a recent high. (KLIC, LRCX).

Over a period of time this has turned out to be a profitable proposition. For September I will be writing covered calls at least 5 to eight points out of the money. The premium will be minimal but more than if I just held the stock waiting for a full recovery.

I would like to write the Sept 40's for ESIO, and if a call out takes place pick up some shares of LRCX , KLIC, PRIA, CMOS or something in the 40 dollar price range.About this group: there is always a good covered call out there.

Regards, Jerome
