But I do know that the Secretary of the Treasury and the Fed Chairman wield a lot more power and influence than a Vice President. Your still missing the whole point about what moves the POG: the economic fundamentals and exchange rates determine the direction of the Manipulation and Manipulation is here to stay in one form or another. The CB's and Governments of the World don't owe gold bugs like you anything: they have every right to sell or lease out what they bought. That isn't the primary reason why Gold has been declining anyway.
