Personally, I would rather this group stayed a Q&A for Gene. If this kind of banter keeps up I'm not going to keep the thread bookmarked.

Is that a threat... or a promise ? -g-

There is a benefit to banter... Particularly discussing markets. [so long a degree of civility is kept] --you could call it "constructive bantering"

1. It brings passion and human psychology in play, something that markets are affected by, therefore it is interesting to see how human emotions are affected by the knowledge, or lack thereof about markets. It helps (at least me), in further understanding how and why people do what they do in the markets.

2. It also could serve as primer for further learning, either by the ones involved in the bantering or those lurking on either side of the issues. Sometimes one holds certain "assumptions" that can prove to be wrong and such knowledge (or learning of), could arise from a couple, (or more), bantering at each other.

3. It is a spectator sport without the blood. [at least I hope so]
