Everything below the line from my old post that you quoted, ie, it is a no brainer in the single digits, has not come to pass. The company has failed to execute on a marketing/partner/business model that would have made my statement correct. It is now and has been obvious for several months that GSTRF is headed for a restructuring that will seriously impair equity holders. Globalstar has run out of time and blew their chance at making the system a go under the current capital structure. Unlike Iridium, Globalstar will be successful, unfortunately, it won't be successful for current shareholders. I would sell GSTRF and buy Loral if you wanted to stay on board. Loral will benefit from the restructuring and new partners or funding sources would likely emerge. Current equity holders will be hurt. It is really a shame, but it is the reality of the situation. Either play the bonds or own Loral, but owning the stock now is likely to cause further loses. Globalstar made promises and predictions they didn't keep and it is too late to turn the corner. If any investor/partner is interested in buying or aquiring a stake in Globalstar, they will be positioning to get involved in the restructuring as cash will be king in carving up the restructured equity of GSTRF among the debt holders and new money providers. Hopefully, new management will also come on board. The Loral folks can't market a mass consumer/business product like global sat phones. They should stay in the wholesale and manufacturing business, which is what they understand. Sorry I did not posted my thoughts sooner, but as I said, I have not been posting or reading much anymore. Good luck.
