Steve, >re:iNteL P3 1gig

When were these parts announced?

When were these parts launched?

When were these parts scheduled to begin shipping in volume?

TIA

Who cares, they're there. Do you ask when a tidal wave was scheduled when it's about to hit, or an earthquake? Looks like the Register is starting to become an Intel touting rag. :-)

Re: "When were these parts scheduled to begin shipping in volume?"

I posted a link a couple of days ago showing same day delivery from IBM. According to Dan, that's not new and they've been available from IBM for quite some time. So I guess you could say they've been in volume for as long too.

They were scheduled to ship in volume in Q3 2000.

Note - it is Q3 2000 - and they are shipping in volume.
