Hi Dutch
I don't know if Jesse won or not (wouldn't surprise me though} but she did beat her best time. Did it in spite of the heat and humidity in 25:25.
What say we all give a hand to Cowgirl on a one-eyed horse
for her great run last night. Man, she is absolutely my idol.

Hey, Dutch!

Yes, I won- I crossed the finish line without having a heat stroke!!!<G>

I felt crummy all day- very tired/legs felt heavy. Funny, I usually run better races the days I'm not up to par.

Considering that the race was run in the evening, in 90+ degree temp & high humidity, I am pleased with the result. I don't know my standing, since I didn't stay for awards.

I'll be racing every weekend for at least the next month, 5Ks, 10Ks, and a half marathon end of Oct.

Thanks for asking...
Judith
