How do you interpret the vix? It seems like everytime I look at it, it is near the yearly low (as it is now) which implies some kind of impending volitility. But in what direction?

How do you know it is bullish?

I'm not actually sure what it measures.

VIX showing some life coming off bottom? may be in sink with improving P/C ratio positive signal for market after possible low 31st/1st? Sorry for slow response but was waiting to see if VIX improved and maybe is predicting positive # for friday which could set the tone for a run up for september in the nas.
