He's leading us somewhere. But where? I don't know or care. I am not much of a follower at any time, and I have a particular reluctance to follow people who tell me how wonderful they are. People who claim to have found The Great Secret are a dime a dozen; if we tried to follow every one of them we wouldn't have enough time left to go in circles. Every once in a while, we meet someone who really does seem to have discovered something. In my experience, those people rarely talk about their beliefs, and never wave them in people's faces. Those who have wisdom don't have to announce it; it shows. Those who feel they have to announce it usually haven't got it.
