The Bible says "you will not murder". Murder is to kill with malice and aforethought. Animals that exist, only for the purpose of eating are not included. What else would on do with a cow?? Keep it for a pet?? Animals with the cloven hoof, that chew a cud, and the fish with scales, and certain fowl, were set aside by God to be eaten by the Hebrew in the early Bible accounts. Jesus said that it mattered not what a man put in his stomach, but that what came out of his mouth was of importance. Tobacco did not exist in Biblical days and is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. All of the maladies you have mentioned about the problems with live stock, are a result of human interference with nature. Blame all aspects of humanity for those conditions. You cannot place blame on only one group. ~H~
