I already mentioned tobacco. Reading problems?? It comes with overindulgence. Tobacco did not exist in Biblical times, and was never mentioned. Tobacco was grown by a few tribes of Native Americans, and was smoked only for ceremonial purposes. Then along came the white man, and over did it, as he has always been so wont to do. Using tobacco in any form is unhealthy, and should not be indulged in by thinking people, but it is not the place of governments to restrict a personal thing such as this. You may fire back at me with the abortion issue, but that is murder. It is the murder of the seed that would have grown into an adult human. That is the simple form of the discussion, but I have a lot longer version which I will not go into this late at night.

To eat meat, or not eat meat, is a personal decision. When we lived in teepees and killed buffalo for food, clothing, housing, and tools, the earth on this continent was pure. The waters ran clean, and could be consumed with complete safety. The white man came, and slaughtered the buffalo for it's hide, only, and left the meat to rot on the prairie. Are you proud of your ancestors for doing that??? I would prefer to live under those conditions. ~H~
