seems that is the cutting edge of our democracy...the pursuit of happiness gets to be a bit overwhelming when
you have 1/4billion people all living under the same roof.

*yes i would agree whole heartedly that ralph nader has some very worthwhile views on trying to achieve a better balance between the corporation and government vs the individual...(thinking Ayn Rand might be rolling over in her grave <ggg>)

lets once again hope the ensuing months bring as many voices into play concerning the directions our nation should take....

in the end , like the market.... what is wrong and what got overlooked soon will get noticed and need adressing. Nice to be able to reassess al together our "options" during the ensuing debates....

It was never about Bush or Gore....but where we all are heading , and election times could be some of the most
exciting times where fresh thoughts and ideas are let
to be aired out. Everyone has a voice....

------> Screw the conventions!... and the dog and pony shows.

Good speech by Bush....credit goes to the writers.

now for csco and tuesday earnings

:)

have a good night Frank

Frank, it's interesting to see the newcomers to the thread are not FOR anything or anyone, but simply against GWB.

That fits in pretty well with my "liberal cynical" voter stereotype.

I wonder if anyone on SI will have the courage to overcome their embarrassment and start an Al Gore thread before the election?

Probably not. It's intellectually quite a bit easier to be against everything and not for anything.

Democrats new mantra "The only thing we have to offer is fear itself".
