Net Perceptions Names Moser Chief Operating Officer
Jacob to Head Field Operations
MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 2000--Net Perceptions (Nasdaq: NETP - news) announced today that George Moser has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the company. Moser, 45, had been the company's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and has more than 20 years experience in the high tech industry. In the new role of COO, Moser will have overall profit and loss responsibility for the operating performance of the company.

``This move benefits Net Perceptions in several ways,'' said Snyder. ``George's keen understanding of our customers' needs will ensure that our operations stay well aligned with the best interests of both our customers and our investors. In conjunction with this move, the company also announced that Steve Jacob, formerly Net Perceptions' Vice President for Europe, the Middle East and Asia (EMEA) has become Senior Vice President of Field Operations. Reporting to Jacob will be worldwide Sales and Customer Solutions.
