If it is Lieberman, and it looks like it is, I don't think he'll be that much of an asset to the ticket. I've seen him campaign, he isn't exactly Mr. Personality. When he ran against Lowell Weicker, he had the endorsement of William Buckley, who advocated for Lieberman just to get Weicker out of there. He hasn't had to campaign since then, that seat is his as long as he wants it.

He gets praise for his public scolding of Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal, but when it came time to actually do something, he toed the party line all the way. And he's never sponsored any significant legislation.
