"I'm not sure how many of us see the market in those terms." Right. Perhaps those of us who wax glossy-eyed about the role of science in establishing reasonable valuation ought not to. Perhaps we should view BT investors as reasonable and pragmatic and not some black or white stereotype. Yet, I simply can't follow the R&D discussion on the Valuation thread since that sort of analysis leaves me dry. So I'm left with a perspective of being part of the 'us' who are valuation-impaired: we remain dogmatically idealistic that, in the end, the science rules.
