Looks more like Gore is running to try to get Hillary elected.

Here's what Clinton does at the convention. He grandly "forgives" Lieberman for the nasty things he said during the impeachment days and thanks him for his vote not to convict. The democrats immediately lose another 10 points in the polls.

"One smart Democrat said to me, Clinton's going to have to have the most generous moment of his political career. No big apologies, but at some point he's got to get up and say something like this: 'Al Gore's been a full partner in all the progress we've made. But it's not fair to punish him for my personal mistakes.'"

"Oh, I don't think he's going to do that," responded co-host Cokie Roberts. Undoubtedly she's right.

Perfect! The electorate is not as dumb or as venal as the Democrats hope, or the Republicans fear......
