The presidency will be determined by the voters take on our stride into the 21st century and whether we have the weight on our back foot or our front foot.

<...precisely the reason polvie could never be president... he doesn't have a back OR a front foot>

Hi Abstract: Good points, some of which are those reasons I remain so optimistic about our future and this market.

Have a great day.

Verrry interesting post, abstract!

and of course, you cannot judge a book by its cover. Yes, the net is one absolutely amazing place.

hi abstract, you mentioned to me while we were at goldcreek," ... on of the easiest things you have ever done was being a dad." i want to thank you for the line which has made me more aware of my responsibility as a dad and stepdad. keep up the tech awareness campaign for the porch as it will no doubt continue strengthening our conviction of techrelated emerging trends. note : one of my clients, a muslim, has his saying, " only in America could i have accomplished this ." thanks rob

Paul, great post.

I agree with you completely.

Even though the President may not matter, I sure would like something other than a chameleon to vote for. I am very disheartened by my choices this year.

Immigration provides constant renewal, fresh ideas, motivation and needed competition to our great country.

Thanks for the thoughts, Scott

Hi Paul
You don't post often enough, but when you do, it's a goodie.
Thanks for the great read.

Bravo, abstract ...

I, too, revel in progress towards diversity becoming mainstream in this culture.

(Don't forget about sexist bigotry, in addition to racist/religious ...)

Have a good day!

Nice post, the melting pot is stirred by technology. I do worry about the blending away of accountability though, especially in the media and the government.
Its funny, somewhat odd, how the economic macro-cosm has such a wide digestive nature to encompass all the diversity, and still grow and expand the overall well being of society as a whole. Peace.

Abstract: You very clearly put my feelings into words. I also am optimistic about the technology, and believe people who do not study the market will also realize that. Thanks for your post. Karen

Paul -

Great post but I absolutely disagree with your statements regarding the election and I encourage you and everyone on the porch to vote this November.

abstract / Paul: Thanks so much for sharing your insights....You clearly have a way with words. I could really connect with a lot of what you were saying...this phrase really hit home for me...

<<Technology is is booming.
Technology is an equalizer.
Technology is enabling.>>

I followed the link on your profile page and noticed your art gallery is in Chicago....About 8 months ago I moved to Lincoln Park.

BTW, I really like your web site -- Kleinart.com is very intuitive and easy to navigate...I may stop by your gallery sometime and introduce myself in person.

Once again, thanks for taking time to share with the folks up on Voltaire's Porch ;-)

Best Regards,

Scott
