Eric, Re: Since AMD and Intel's 64 bit platforms have nothing in common, it will be exceedingly difficult for AMD's to succeed if Intel has already gotten a sizable 64-bit market share position when AMD's comes out And if Intel fail to get a sizable 64 bit market given all the preparation it has done, what would be the chance AMD's offer will excel ? Because of its name ? Its Athlon can't even get into the corporate market as of now. gary
