Re: "It amazes me that you are so cynical of anything to do with AMD, yet optimistic for anything with an upside for Intel even, when it is the same third parties being discussed. If it was AMD, you would ask for links, a recording of a conversation with the IBM salesman, and have it done under oath as well. And then you would say they were mis-informed. Well, do you have the above for the 1133 MHz P3 system?"

Relax Pete. This is just a place where people have fun.

IBM has a website where they say they have 1.133 & 1GHz CuMine systems in stock. Don't let it ruin your life.

Pete, Pete, Pete,

RE:"Dear Elmer:

---Rumor has it that Elmer used to work for AMD and he and AMD parted company on not so good terms....and the grudge lives on. I think he feels burned. (This has been posted before you came on the board)

That might help you understand Elmers anti-AMD, pro-Intel biases. Elmers probably loaded with Intel stock too compared to how much AMD stock he has...not to mention he's likely subcontracting as a chip/benchmark tester for Intel at this time...so he takes the bins and benchmarks very personal.
OTOH, A guy with Elmers technical knowledge could afford to be I bit more objective...
