Homosexuality .... reason that it is in itself maladaptive Do you have any evidence to back this up. There are many indications that homosexuality has a genetic component which would have been bred out of the species had it been harmful. Many if not most homosexuals have a family and those who do not have children may well contribute to the success of close relatives who carry many of the same genes. It think you are letting your prejustice get ahead of your science. TP

Maladaptive...? That would depend on the goals of the organism...I think you may be a bit homophobic, or at the very least, your ability to examine human behavior objectively is being mal-influenced by the subject... Human sexuality is not a black/white issue... "Sexual behavior' takes many subtle forms, and sexual expression is not limited to coitus... So, I would argue the 'maladaptive' statement...but not right now...I'm trying to catch up on the thread on a very sssslllllloooooowwww machine.
