It is true enough that the original study about the gay gene has been discredited, and even were it accepted, would only yield a .50 correlation. It is likely that many homosexuals are psychologically beyond change, for all practical purposes. However, I have known a few people who were enthusiastic enough about heterosexuality, but sexually ambivalent, who "decided" they had been homosexual all along in order to resolve their tension over deciding to follow those inclinations.......

I, and most Christians I know, do not hate homosexuals. I do hate the sin it causes and the grief it causes and the immorality it causes, and the separation from God it causes.. Same with folks who live life lying, stealing, cheating on their taxes, committing adultery, etc etc etc, I do not hate any of them. I do hate what the sin has done to their lives and to others affected. Of course there is always a fringe. They are ones normally getting the most press. Folks like you.
