I have looked at some of the same types of scenarios with selling PUTS to buy CALLS. Essentially that's just about the same as going long the stock.

But in this case, with COMS so cheap, doesn't it take more margin to secure the naked puts than it would just to buy the stock?

Of course, my brokers margin requirements are also fairly strict as well. A naked put is 40% of the stock price + the Premium.

Also, I am not getting accurate quotes from CBOE for Jan 2003 Puts. What do you show as the bid/ask for those?
