I should probably clarify. The vehicles I drive are mostly junkers cosmetically, but I do try to keep them in pretty good mechanical condition. I agree that reliability is paramount in a vehicle. While I haven't had many serious problems, they always seem to happen when they're least convenient and farthest from home.

Dear Lynn: Just for the record Chryler also has the same roadside service. Good for as long as you have your warranty, in my case, I bought the extended warranty to 6 years 75,000 miles and I did it mainly because of that roadside service. I belong to AAA but in my area of the country its gotten so crowded around here its usually 3 hours from the time you call AAA until they pick you up. I have only used it once but it worked beautifully. I called them on the Cell phone and they were there within a 1/2 hour in a very nice truck not the beat up rigs AAA usually shows up in. Not only that they kept calling me back to make sure I was OK etc. I realize this is not only off topic but a long post. However, its not often I can say something really nice about a service lately and wanted to take the opportunity. JDN
