there is imo a tad of catch 22 at play with T/A (rhymes!).
to the point, ta may work, in large part, because so many traders rely on it. hence, the macd buy signal generates more buying, etc,etc. ta is for lovers of rules in an arena where rules are often disrupted by news. nonetheless, it is well worth its place in the decision process and you my friend are a master interpreter of the rules <g>
