Michael,

I agree with you that in today's environment, companies report better than expected earnings and then proceed to get beaten up (short term) on the news. In Citrix's case, however, the reason for the brutal beating was the lies Citrix Management made to their stockholders and the financial community on their expectations on meeting expected earnings, when in fact they knew they will going to fall below expectations. This did not set well with the stockholders and the Financial Analyst, as well it shouldn't.

With that said, I believe in the Citrix product line and believe their product is superior than their competitors. I believe because I evaluated, recommended, and implemented Metaframe in our company. The sins of this company will eventually be forgiven and the stock price will once again be judged on the strength of the company and it's earnings. The question will be how long this forgiveness will take.

I am "lurking" for now and will get back in when I think the tide has turn.
