9)severely crippled our search ability..

This really it the one that gets me all bunched up. Instead of taking one step forward, they have taken us three steps backwards.

For the last two years I have read countless promises about vastly improving the search on SI. Nothing yet.

Try to do a subject search for XCIT. You won't find this this thread #subject-10851 the Excite(XCIT) thread before they were bought.

I think I figured why that one doesn't work though. The symbol is in brackets. The data base doesn't recognize it. And the way it used to work was a symbol was searchable. Not the symbol is inactivated so I guess SIs new search doesn't find it.

So you'd have to know at least one of the words in the subject title. Okay, "Excite" comes back with nothing for the stock.

I really wonder if they know how much time we spend inside this neighborhood?

what I was thinking of doing was to compile as many of the things I could figure that disappeared and then start a thread to try to keep a good record of what they could do to bring things back.

I'm sure I can't think of everything and would look for a few others to post 'em as they notice them.

But alas, it'll probably all fall on deft ears.
