Lynn, I am a person who loves utilities -- because I am really risk-averse. But Calpine seems to be a different kind of company. Energy/Utility companies don't grow by 380% each year. Something's different here. Yet, the market treats CPN like a utility -- they rarely have a huge down or up day. Today was big, up almost 10% after a re-affirmation by a broker at the end of last week. I had never heard of Calpine, but ever since I started running models on individual stocks, CPN has kept showing up on my "Very Bullish" list and also on my "Lower than average risk" list -- which is quite an attractive combination!
