an e-wave friend is calling for a low at $268 this week or next followed by a move to $353. Problem is, that after reading all the half year currency price projections it seems most are expecting the same thing in regards to the euro and the dollar which makes me nervous when most are thinking alike. The majority are looking for short term dollar strength{2 weeks} and then great weakness over the coming months.
Perhaps our resident currency expert, Searle, could shed some light.

looking at a daily close chart for gold dating back to last August you will see the same basic chart pattern as the monthly chart dated back to 1980:
