Citrix User Group Adds Leadership From cMeRun
Combination of Technical Expertise and Determination Build Solid Foundation for Growth

HUDSON, Mass., August 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerry Shea, senior Citrix engineer at C Me Run Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: CMER - news), with more than 24 years of technology industry experience, was recently named president of the Regional Citrix Users Group Northeast. The newly formed group's reach will encompass the New England area, including Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

As a founding member, Shea will provide direction and leadership, while working with group members, to develop a collaborative learning environment. In addition to his technology experience, Shea has a solid background in Application Service Provider (ASP) implementation and design. The Regional Citrix User Group Northeast will provide members with an opportunity to share and learn about the growing ASP industry, technology design and infrastructure, enterprise solutions and ideas, trends and upcoming activities of interest.

``User Groups serve an important role, and provide a forum for information sharing. We are delighted to see Jerry spear-heading this new User Group,'' said John Burris, senior vice president, worldwide customer services for Citrix. ``The determination demonstrated by him in developing the plan for this organization, along with other founding members in the Northeast area, is evidence of their desire to provide members with an educational experience. It is fantastic to see independent groups of people coming together to share a common passion.''

``I look forward to sharing my knowledge of ASP infrastructures with others. My vision of a successful User Group is a partnership between all members and I look forward to fostering the spirit of learning within the new Citrix User Group,'' said Shea.

cMeRun bases its innovative service architecture on Citrix Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CTXS - news) MetaFrame(TM) application server software and NFuse(TM) application portal technology, a large-scale deployment for which Shea has been directly responsible.

``It is important to us that we join forces with others in the ASP community to develop a strong and viable Citrix User Group. We encourage all interested parties to join this group,'' said Shea. Along with Bill Fistori, of Deva Systems Group, Shea helped organize the initial meeting. Participating companies included: Allmerica Financial Corp., Citrix Systems, Inc., cMeRun, Deva Systems Group, Fidelity, JA Webster, and Polaroid Corporation. The next Regional Citrix Users Group Northeast meeting will be held during the third week of September 2000. Interested individuals and companies in the Northeastern United States can learn more about membership and future meetings by contacting Shea directly at jshea@cmerun.com.
