dennis, i got bearish of the 7/17 top and thought we would have another july top, but this has not acted like your normal average july top -gg- so, hell i don't know, i covered all my shorts a week ago and have been day trading the long side, hit a run take a few points and bank em, plus i have been buying some gold stocks at 50 xau, there are now 20% bulls market vane, gawd it's getting dreary, the $usd has got to be within 1 day to several months of making a major top -gg-

i expect at some time this fall we could see a rally in gold stocks like we saw off the august 98 bottom, or the july 99 bottom.

everybody is screaming bullish on the financials, although i would not play them here on the long side, too squemish, i would look for a shorting opportunity possibly a sell the news thing at fomc, they are NOT going to raise, they aren't nutz, the yield curve inversion went to the five year note last week.

this market is hard to make money in, i doubt you will see easy pickens like the naz had from october 98 thru march 00 for a long time.
