mightylakers and gdichaz, which customer is the next one
QCOM will try to wage war against??

Shooting oneself in the foot is one thing, that happens,
but dropping a battleship or an aircraft carrier is
mostly known from comics.

Reality and beauty is still that the GSM network, which has
been producing nice voice+SMS profits already for many
years, gets updated to packets while not interrupting
existing service and cash flow, just like WAP to start with
works with simple, existing SMS messages (all over the
world) and then more and more with switched data and then
packets.

That's something the customers, operators like, to
run their cash flow, business and improve it at the same time.

Btw, a SMS message is worth a nickel, for 160 characters,
and one good joke is circulated to almost all subscribers in
2-3 days using just the control channel. The best ones are
often the animated ones, a new subculture of its own,
ready for WAP-versions, connecting (click) people.

Ilmarinen.
