Re NYSE Member Net Buy/Sell, here's a similar chart for the S&P with a different result:

Les, how can that NYSE Net buy/sell data be squared with the Commitment of Traders data from the CBOE? It can't, either one or both pieces of data is inaccurate, or "the pros" are split. Is there another read?

dmp: There is a two-week time lag, and they've had a good opportunity to run up and dump NYSE-heavy sectors, such as utilities, banks, insurance, brokerages, energy, and now housing & construction, that have a lot of individual issues. as well as rotating out of others. It'd be nice to know what dollar volume was.
