Don, Bill Parish contends that the options tax rebates have become the main source of tech company earnings. i haven't looked closely at his stuff yet though...i'm going to investigate it in a bit more detail. hb

Don, it is my understanding that the tax benefit does hit the income statement but I could be wrong - not likely though -g-. Ask Bill F or MB. I don't get hung up on the details anymore I feel this market will continue to transfer the retirement savings of the working American to the insiders( wonderful esops) and the gov't until the maladjustments become so great that the market collapses of its own weight leading to the most severe bear market since the Great Depression ( TL & EV) Mike
