You HAVE to make a judgment- does this guy NEED my help. If you didn't do that you would be stopping everyone and trying to "help" them- which perhaps you do. But most people get annoyed if you help them when they don't perceive they need help. Without judgment at all we'd be inert- but no, that would require a judgment too- I suppose you could be unconscious and be without judgment. We are forced to make judgments each second (right or left, eggs or pancakes, smile or frown, etc etc etc- all choices are judgments and every minute involves a choice of some kind or other).

So whether we think we are judging or not we ARE making a judgment. If we think we aren't judging we are making a judgment call to pretend we aren't judging- but we are -every choice is a judgment call, and every act is a choice. We are human, we rank things and class things and make choices- if we didn't we'd be dead, or unconscious.
