Mark,

Thanks for the update. SFE just now starting to show a little mo for the day. Could use a little run into earnings.

I seem to remember someone on this thread speculating this spring that the next IPO would be a pretty good one, as if there was a short list in this poster's mind. Do you happen to have any ideas? It's almost too bad CVSN is about their only biotech. Venture capital and IPO market for them is going pretty well right now, whereas SFE's main niches are still out of favor. I'm thinking it'll be another couple of months before it spits it out.

Cheers, Tuck

Mark,

Nobody's posted anything yet? Everyone in shock? Interesting that the next IPO will be E-Profile. The online banking software industry has really sucked the last few months, though SCAI and E-Profile have held up better than most. Since I own SCAI, this is probably good news, unless the IPO craters. I can get shares, but since I already own two players in this space . . . why? But it may not be such good news for other SFE investors. I'm not sure if non-holders of SCAI can get this one, for one.

What a strange market. Gets all sorts of decent economic data; still in the toilet. Can you say bear? The IPO market, notably in biotech, has been strong the last couple of weeks, but the sentiment tells me it won't last. I think much of the selling here has to do with SFE trying to IPO into an autumnal crash. Tempted to hedge into November and go vacation again, much longer this time.

Cheers, Tuck
