Forgive me, Mike...but I see this situation...

...as very different from INTC 'a few years ago' before it doubled.

Never mind why ... perhaps you can tell me what you think DELL stock value will be on Friday ... and more importantly, two years from now?

I don't want to sell DELL. But again, I don't want to sit on dead money.

I have a diversified (mostly tech, though) portfolio in which my largest positions are INTC, CSCO, AMAT, DELL and SUNW.

Smaller but still somewhat signif (relative) LT positions in MSFT, IBM. Sold the CPQ @ $34 last time it was there (talk about dead money.)

Interested if I sell DELL in putting it into a more aggressive momentum play.

The reason is that I'm aggressively seeking to grow a retail portfolio on which I can achieve financial independence (i.e. retirement) within the next three years.

Are you in similar circumstances or different?

Already retired, i.e.?

TIA,

"b-i-a"
