I don't know where they got the fact that

AMD said that it expects to produce about 11 million Athlons in the second half of the year.

I think the number should be 7 million for Q3 + 9 million for Q4 = 16 million for H2 2000.

Also:
AMD, however, is trying to beat Intel at its own game and is expected to ramp up the Athlon to 1.5GHz by the second half of next year.

I think AMD plans to introduce 1.5 GHz in Q1 2001.
