how do you intend to regulate it? The criminal system has obviously failed to do it very well, and inevitably, if you put drug users in jail, your punishing the victim.

I think it should be legal, but taxed heavily. Some drugs are indeed pretty dangerous...but, alcohol is pretty friggin dangerous, too.
