mepci re: I for one share Tucker's view here. I tend to stick to the consensus outlook of analysts rather than one or two negative forecasts. I suspect Dell gave recent guidance for this quarter that supports the consensus and not the whisper .23. Dell, to my knowledge, has not changed their 3Q and 4Q guidance so Kumar is striking out on his own further out. Board messages put forth seemed to be excellent contrary thoughts regarding Kumar's more negative 3Q, 4Q, ... outlook (as compared to Dell's own guidance). So, I do not share GVTuckers view, but then again if one were to split hairs, his views could be very different than what I think they are. I just gave up on trying to guess what he means.
