Their management fees are based largely on assets under management, not the performance of those assets. I'll pay every bit as much in fees in my Fido 401k this year as last, even if the fund stays totally flat. Did you ever stop and consider the fact that this quadrupling of Naz PEs from the teens to over fifty had the immediate effect of quadrupling Wall Street management fees? In return for getting ever smaller slices of overpriced companies, we're all paying the chief charlatans four times more out of the incoming cash flow. What a deal... <s> BC
