I think I'm going to play the upside, but I'll make a instinct call near the close tommorrow.....

Everybody has their own style but I'm on the sidelines
waiting for the results. If they are bullish, good
entry points will still be available in these punished
stocks with major overhang. If the results are bearish,
you won't be able to get out fast enough...

After AMAT's nice plunge last Thursday it has struggled to build a little bear-flag. Its high yesterday touched the two most impt points of s-t resistance -- horiz and the dt line from the 7/17 pop.

If it can push up, say, 2 bucks (and they are worth more this AM!), it will have overcome these obstacles and I would think it could run to $77 or so.

POS is also at a critical juncture technically. It has to go down immediately or it too will give us a nice pop.

TXN has its best close since the disastrous gap-down, with the high of the day pretty well closing the gap. Still looks weak though.

According to the phlx site ALTR has the most weight in the SOX, and it has such a strong chart.

I am expecting a nice pop at the open and then weakness through the day. I think it will be one of those days where the open-close is quite tight compared to the intraday range.
