Hi all; Old news, new source: Intel considers dumping Rambus for DDR in mainstream PCs: VIA, Acer Labs Aim to Monopolize DDR Chipset Market in 2001 July 31, 2000 (Taipei) Intel Corp. said that it was considering introducing a new chipset for its Pentium 4 processor, tentatively dubbed Brookdale, in the third quarter of 2001.
