Thank you very much. As I am educated in areas that are not relevant to reading balance statements, I appreciate the work you did to dig through those numbers and make some sense of them. CSCO is perhaps the most important stock these days to stay on top of, as Rande said, in terms of the internet infrastructure and they are entering an interesting time in terms of the company's own lifespan. Can they continue to grow at the exponential rate we have seen, and continue to innovate at the same time. Yes, they have the dominant gorilla status, but we have seen JNPR penetrate part of their high-end router market...a tiny part of CSCO's inventory but nonetheless stealing market share from CSCO can't be easy. I have a neighbor who is a NXTL IT guy, and they buy everything from CSCO, don't even consider another supplier. CSCO's technology, he says, is six months behind the more nimble companies, but plenty of customers wait for CSCO's product to hit the market because they know that it will work. Another question is how well do they assimilate the upstarts they are acquiring? Several posts later you said they went from almost zero to one billion in bookings for optical gear. That's pretty amazing, and obviously is a significant element for this thread, and one of the areas that you highlighted in terms of something to watch as CSCO attempts to get the revs flowing in from the new acquisitions. Thanks again for the hard work. It was a great education for me. Julie PS- do you ever sleep? <g>
