Craig, Excellent post! It gives one pause as to the true dynamics of market manipulation. Remember that this is just one fund! This guy alone deals in Billions. A few similar fund managers like this can and probably did have much to do with the "crahs" in March. It would be interesting to find out just exactly how many shares he dumped as compared to the number of shares sold by Segate. Does anyone know the web site that we can look at this 13-F filing of Vinik Asset Management fund? There were about 400 posts on the subject of the Segate sales alone. Consider that if Vinik sold twice as many shares as Segate, then we will owe him about 798 more posts about his SNDK sales on this thread. (maybe he sold because he reads this thread. Oh dear!)
