MONTREAL, Aug 9 (Reuters) - C-MAC Industries Inc. (Toronto:CMS.TO - news) said on Wednesday it will raise about C$897.7 million ($603.4 million) in net proceeds from an issue of 10 million common shares it priced at C$94 per share in Canada and $63.18 per share in the United States.

The contract electronics manufacturer, which last month agreed to buy Magna International Inc. (Toronto:MGa.TO - news) electronics manufacturing unit Invotronics, said it will use the proceeds from the offering for acquisitions, new facilities, to finance capital expenditures as well as for working capital and general corporate expenditures.

The issue will be an initial offering in the United States where the New York Stock Exchange has approved the common shares for listing under the symbol EMS.

Montreal-based C-MAC said that the offering, scheduled to close August 14, includes an option for underwriters to purchase up to 1.5 million more common shares at the same price to cover any over-allotments.

Merrill Lynch & Co. and Banc of America Securities LLC are joint lead managers of the offering. The underwriting syndicate includes CIBC World Markets Inc., FleetBoston Robertson Stephens Inc., and J. P. Morgan Securities Inc.
