well, a falling dollar would be a longer term positive for the current account, no doubt about that. it is actually an inevitability, as this imbalance needs to be corrected. look for the trade deficit to explode to yet another level of absurdity over coming months.

of course all transnational US based entities would profit from a falling dollar...but the effects on inflation and the capital account would cancel the positives out in terms of the stock market.
