Worked for Reagan......Back from Paris! Bon soir, mes amis.....Seriously, it is sheer dogmatism to say that talking tough doesn't do squat. Sometimes it is just the ticket. For example, William Shirer was living in Berlin in the run- up to World War II. He learned through contacts in the Nazi regime that had the French challenged the re- militarization of the Rhineland in '36, Hitler was prepared to withdraw, for he was not ready for war. Thus, more time might have been bought for everyone to prepare, and perhaps the mistake of Munich would could have been avoided.......
